Welcome to Black Jaguar Cattery. Founded in 2015, our cattery is a passionate, specialized hobby of ours and a fully registered company in Ireland.
As a proud breeder registered with both The International Cat Association (TICA) and The Governing Council of the Cat Fancy of Ireland (GCCFI), we are dedicated to raising healthy, high-quality Maine Coons. All of our cats are registered with TICA and the GCCFI, coming from carefully chosen pedigrees that emphasize outstanding health, wonderful temperaments, and show-winning conformation to the Maine Coon breed standard.
All of my Maine Coons are health tested for:
Cardiac Ultrasound (Echocardiogram)
Hip Dysplasia (Screening)
HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy)
PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease)
PKdef (Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency)
SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy)
FIV and FeLV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus and Feline Leukemia Virus)
Our kittens are raised right in our home, where they receive plenty of love, hands-on socialization, and complete litter training. To ensure they are fully ready for their new homes, they transition to their adoptive families between 13 and 16 weeks of age.
All of our pet kittens are spayed or neutered prior to leaving. Additionally, each kitten comes fully prepared with:
Vaccinations: Received two full sets of vaccinations
Deworming: Dewormed three times
Vet Checks: Thoroughly health-checked by a veterinarian three times
Microchip: Microchipped and registered directly in the new owner’s name
Registration: Registered with TICA, the GCCFI, or both
When you collect your kitten, we will provide a complete documentation folder, including:
Parent Health Certificates: DNA test results, heart scan (echocardiogram) report, and hip dysplasia.
Registration & Pedigree: Registration documents and pedigree
Health & Identification: Kitten vaccination card, and microchip transfer form
Sales Agreement: Completed and signed adoption contract
Medical research confirms that early spaying and neutering has no negative impact on a kitten’s health or physical development.
I love staying in touch with all of our adoptive families, and I am always here to offer ongoing guidance, advice, or support whenever you need it throughout your cat’s life.
